China Dolls and Wrecking Balls

Standard

One look at your face

Chills my skin

The soft pinkness of life

Decays into black ice

One touch from your lips

Breaks my limbs

Spiders waltz up and down my arms

Leaving webs of cracks in their wake

Steel hearts don’t beat

But steel-painted can break

Sadly, mine is the latter
